Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi and a team of some of the politicians from NUP extended support of maternal health items to expectant mothers at Kasana hospital in Luweero district.
Barbie extended support to expectant mothers with usable materials to aid them while giving birth through her community organization Care_UG. The materials will also be used by single mothers who were dumped by their lovers.
According to observers, Barbie’s goal is to identify and skill teenage mothers about how to forego lifetime challenges and survival through acquiring practical skills that can enable them to create self-employment and earn a living.
Among the items handed over to the beneficiaries at Kasana Hospital, Luweero district includes; maternal health items, sanitary pads, liquid soap among others.
