Big Muzik Entertainment boss, Ibrahim Mayanja a.k.a Big Eye Starboss, has revealed why he stopped going to school.
He reasoned that his musical talent overweighed his desire of attending school and thus forced him to stop going to lectures.
While appearing in a TV interview, Big Eye stated that his love and passion for music made him drop out of school when he had just joined Makerere University.
He narrated that he studied from Kaazo Junior for his Primary level and thereafter joined St. Mary’s for his O-level and Kololo High for A-Level before joining Makerere.
During that period of time, he landed a breakthrough hit song that forced him to ditch studies for music as he had started earning some good money.
At that moment he was pursuing a degree in Computer Science and just like that, his music overweighed his education and thus took on what his heart desired.
“At Makerere University I was pursuing a degree in Computer Science. But when I got a breakthrough song, I dropped school because talent overweighed my studies. That’s how I found myself quitting studies.“- he revealed.
