KFM presenter Brian Mulondo revealed that Eddy Kenzo managed to bring Uganda her first BET award because he sang a children’s song which was danceable and got liked by the whole world.
Brian Mulondo spoke his mind about Eddy Kenzo’s BET award as he was giving his opinion on why Diamond Platnumz failed to win a BET award for the third successive time in the recently concluded awarding ceremony that took place over the weekend.
He stressed that in Eddy Kenzo’s case, he sang a children’s song which was danceable and that is why he won the BET award. The other thing is that many people including the Europeans jumped on the song with video challenges.
He further explained that Diamond will never win a BET or Grammy award reasoning that he defied the Covid-19 rules when he performed before huge crowds in stadiums when the world was under lock down.
The gesture that Diamond did was likely to increase the spread of the disease which many International Health Organizations disagreed with.
Brian Mulondo further added that Diamond will only stand a chance to win a BET or Grammy if their new president bows to the International pressure which the late Pombe Magufuli declined to adhere to.
