Diana Marua playfully teased her husband, Kevin Bahati, after his team, Arsenal, lost 1-0 to PSG in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg.
On Tuesday, April 29, the Gunners faced the French side in the first leg of their semi-final clash in the UEFA Champions League.
A lone goal by Ousmane Dembele in the fourth minute helped PSG beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The teams were almost equally matched in the entertaining encounter, but PSG had more ball possession, pass accuracy, and overall number of shots.
Diana shared a video of watching the game with her hubby. A video showed Bahati wearing an Arsenal jersey as they ate while watching the game.
“You have lost your voice. You were talking a lot in the morning, but PSG has scored. This food is as sweet as PSG’s goal,” Diana said.
Bahati attributed his silence to table manners, noting that there was still time for Arsenal to score. “But you are a Manchester United fan,” he told her.
Bahati asked Diana to leave him alone, but she would not relent, and he left the food on the table.
“PSG has scored a goal. My hubby wants to cry. Arsenal, today, you should know that you will not win.
In the dying moments of the game, Diana got up and moved to the TV to support PSG. She even kissed the screen while urging the team not to concede a goal.
“I can never support Arsenal. I will always support the opposing team. I will buy you hypertension pills,” Diana said.
Bahati urged her to stop bothering him, but she would not budge. “After all is said and done, you will stop being a loudmouth,” she declared. The exchange amused social media users, with many teasing the team for losing.
