Gravity Omutujju, real name Gereson Wabuyi, has faced a series of criticism over his new song dubbed “Omunio” from fellow artists including Da Agent and other artists from different sectors claiming that it has vulgar intent in it.

Most recent criticism has come from the Katikiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga who banned all of Gravity Omutujju’s songs and Lil Pazo’s Enkudi from being played on CBS radio station and BBS TV.

The Katikiro said at a recent “Lukiiko” that whoever plays those songs on the Buganda Radio and TV station will be responsible and will be blamed.

When Gravity Omutujju learned about the banning of his songs from the Buganda media outlets, he recorded a clip clapping back to the Katikiro telling him how over the years his music has not been playing on the institutions platforms.

He further defended himself saying none of his songs has vulgar intent noting that as a creative, he only focuses on entertaining the public in he best way he knows possible.

The artist went on to advise the Katikiro to focus on real issues affecting the Baganda Kingdom including land grabbing and many other issues and shouldn’t put his focus on a single song which has nothing to do with anything affecting the Buganda region.
