Last evening, former TNS singer Sheebah Karungi bragged about having more hits songs than Cindy Sanyu and bossing the music industry for almost 10 years.
Sheebah made the comments at a press conference that she conducted and threw digs at Cindy Sanyu by saying she is just looking for a musical comeback as the reason why there is a back-and-forth exchange of words between the two.
To be exact, Sheebah claimed she has over 99 hit songs compared to Cindy’s 29 something that didn’t sit down well with Cindy Sanyu.
While appearing on Sanyuka TV’s UnCut show, Cindy Sanyu responded to Sheebah’s statements saying she only considers songs as hits depending on their longevity on the music countdown charts.

Cindy Sanyu furthermore bragged that she is an artist who also only writes classic hits and has no reason to release over 100 songs to prove her worth.
She then asked Sheebah Karungi why she has to stress releasing over 40 songs every year to prove she is a star.
“If you’re a person who writes classics, you don’t need to write over 100 songs to prove your worth. No. You just need to write a few songs. I write my hits and I write classics that I release and after I go make my money just simply like that.
But when your songs are lightweight, that is when you get to release songs almost every after two months because your songs come and hit and fence and fail that is why you find her releasing songs now and after. If you’re having hit songs, why are you overworking yourself by dropping 40 songs a year?
I consider a song a hit when it lasts on the countdown for about 3 months and more. It is all about longevity”, Cindy.
