I was not convinced enough to call Bobi Wine my president – Emmanuel Lwasa

Team Kawumbi embattled boss Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesi has aired out his perspective about National Unity Platform (NUP) President, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.

Based on his reasoning, he states that when he closely observed the NUP principal, he was not convinced enough to call him his President.

I have been observing the president of NUP and personally I was not convinced enough to call him my president

Emmanuel Lwasa

Following his terrible defeat for the Masaka city Mayoral race that saw NUP’s candidate beat him with a landslide victory, Lwasa still wonders why people rejected him.

Speaking to NBS TV, he requested the people of Masaka to change their attitude and hearts to vote for NRM in the next general election.

He adds that if they don’t do so, they will continue to suffer more and more.

I would love the people of Masaka to change their hearts because if they don’t, they will continue to suffer

Lwasa

Lwasa went on to note that he can’t be led by Bobi Wine as the president of Uganda reasoning that he lacks some qualities for him to start calling him his president.

I have no problem with the National Unity Platform at all. I just don’t believe in its president. Personally, I can’t be ruled by Bobi Wine. This does not mean that I hate him, No. Its just that he lacks some qualities for me to start calling him my president.
