If you want to survive in the music industry, avoid drugs – Edward Ssendi cautions rising artists

Music critic Edward Ssendi has cautioned rising artists in the Ugandan music industry to avoid drugs.

Edward Ssendi gave the advice to musicians as a lesson they should borrow from the late Mowzey Radio who passed on four years ago in a bar fight.

He shared the advice while complimenting the late Mowzey Radio for being a very good talented musician who contributed a very huge step to the arts.

He, however, noted that the late Radio’s only problem was the use of toxic substances and drugs that could sometimes make him lose his cool.

In that essence, he requested rising artists who want to live a lasting legacy in the music industry to distance themselves from abusing drugs.

“Mowzey Radio was a very talented musician but he had a problem with drugs. Therefore if you want to survive in the music industry, you have to avoid drugs”, Eddy Ssendi
