Janzi Band In Charity Drive Event To Help Children With Autism

Afro-fusion, contemporary, and World Music instrumentalists, Janzi Band, will this weekend (April 2 & 3) be in a charity drive that is aimed at giving back to the children at “The Home Of Hope” in Jinja, Uganda.

This will be in commiseration with World Autism Day which is observed every year on April 2.

Under the band’s “Janzi 4 Hope” affiliate, this charity event is part of the many off-stage activities lined up on the 2009 formed group’s event calendar for this year.

“Music is our power and we are using it to make their lives better ” stated Sewa

He added; “Our major goal is to put a spotlight on the hurdles that people with autism and others living with the disease face every day”.

Sewa Sewa further called upon all well-wishers who feel touched and willing to contribute towards the same cause in efforts to see children with autism condition live better lives.

Before the charity proceedings on Sunday, the group alongside other performers will entertain revelers at The Nile Village Jinja on Saturday night
