Firebase crew singer Mayega Tadeo a.k.a Zex Bilangilangi believes that artists of singer Jose Chameleone’s stature should be thinking about retiring from the music industry.
Zex Bilangilangi notes that the time Jose Chameleone has spent in the music industry, he should have retired sometime back and put his focus on establishing other business entities and projects that impact the nation in positive ways.
The “Magazine” singer went ahead to stress that even though Jose Chameleone is not retired yet, he should be thinking about retiring from music and joining businesses like real estate whereby he can establish apartments for rent.
Is it that in Uganda once you stop releasing music you become a faded artist? If you it very well, I think artists like Jose Chameleone should be out of the music industry now doing other businesses like in Estates. Because right now, it doesn’t make sense to see a respected artist like him fighting for the microphone and space with fresh talents. I’m not saying he should retire, but he should think about retiring.
Zex Bilangilangi gave his opinion as he explained about the ventures he is been up to during the period he has been in Germany.
He elaborated on how he joined forces with fellow artists including Nutty Neithan, Jamal Wassawa, and Ronald Maro in activism projects like bottle bricks making and collecting all polythene bags from the community in a way of trying to preserve the environment.
