Limited local artists support cost us the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award – Triplets Ghetto Kids

Triplets Ghetto Kids came out to claim that the limited local artists’ support cost them the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award in the recently concluded awarding ceremony.

The youngster talented dance group and their manager Kavuma Dauda made their frustrations of losing out on the “Favourite African Social Media Star” gong public through an interview on Spark TV’s LiveWire show.

The Ghetto Kids were beaten to the award by 10-year-old Nigerian comedienne and YouTuber Emanuella who gained Global recognition through a series of her comedy skits that have also seen her transverse the world.

Since the voting took place on Twitter, the Triplets Ghetto Kids and their manager, called Ugandan artists to always support each other whenever they are nominated in international awards.

They added that if all Ugandan celebrities or even a half of them had massively rallied their followers to vote for them, they would have managed to bring the award home.
