The chances of Miss Uganda Elizabeth Bagaya to represent Uganda at this year’s Miss World beauty pageant look to be very slim at the moment.
The reason is simply Miss Bagaya lacks a USA visa that permits her to travel to Puerto Rico where the beauty pageant is going to be held and the days for the event are running out.
Based on Ms. Brenda Nanyonjo the CEO Miss Uganda beauty pageant, explained that the situation is so because when they applied for Miss Bagaya’s visa, they were scheduled for 2022 around the end of November.
At the moment, they have called upon whoever can help them convince the American Embassy bosses to at least do everything to rescheduled Miss Bagaya’s travel visa to November 2021 so that she can travel and represent Uganda at the Miss World beauty pageant.
Brenda Nanyonjo explained that Miss Bagaya’s visa schedule was put for 2022 because of the too much backlog that the embassy had from travelers who visa’s were cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic that struck the world.
