It is joy mode in singer Nubian Li’s family following the news of his wife Gloria Mutoni Salha being sworn in as the deputy mayor of Nakawa Divison.
Nubian Li’s wife was sworn in on Thursday at the division head offices at a ceremony which was attended by only-invite.
Gloria Mutoni Salha’s appointment as the deputy mayor Nakawa division comes at the back of her LC3 victory for Kyanja Parish in the recently climaxed 2021 general elections.
Since the division’s mayor is from the East, the deputy is now from the West.
Upon being sworn in as the deputy mayor, Mutoni Salha promised to serve the residents of Nakawa diligently and also vowed to fight corruption in the division to have smooth processes.
Nubian Li took to his socials to congratulate his wife upon the new role that she has been entrusted with at the Nakawa division.
Congratulations to you my love Mutoni Salha the new Deputy Mayor of Nakawa Division. May Allah’s guidance be upon you in fulfilling your new duty.
