A social media influencer who goes by the name Jalia Walda has unmasked rising singer Omukunjja Atasera, born Ssempijja Dan Thadeus’, fake claims of being kidnapped and tortured.
Jalia Walda exposed Omukunja Atesera having reportedly spent USD3000 on him for treatment after he claimed he was badly beaten and tortured for attacking singer Gerald Kiweewa on stage during the Janzi Awards ceremony.
He attacked Kiweewa demanding their share of the money that Gen. Saleh had gifted them from Gulu.
However, in return, it is said that Kiweewa teamed up with Phina Masanyalaze and ate the biggest percentage of it and the rest was given to the upcoming artists as loans.
This left Omukunja Atesera with a few of his colleagues unhappy and started demanding their share.
In a phone interview, Omukunjja was grilled and failed to answer Jalia’s questions but confirmed that he faked some torture allegations.
