Ugandan long-distance runner Joshua Kiprui Cheptegei is officially off the radar of the singles after being introduced by his fiancee Carol Kamari in a colorful traditional ceremony.
The marital function was held in Cheboron village, Kaptum sub-county in Kwen district at Kamari’s ancestral home.
The pair announced their plans to formalize their marriage early last month and today the lovers fulfilled their promise to each other as they took a leap of faith and made their marital union official.
Their colorful event was spiritually presided by Pastor Peter Chelangat of Shining Light of God Ministries Kapchorwa and Pastor David Otto alongside the Bishop of Sebei Diocese.
Kamari is a professional engineer and a daughter to the late Ministry of works engineer Stephen Chesang and businesswoman Chesakit.
