Police arrest six revellers while partying hard at a nightclub (video)

On Sunday, Uganda Police Force arrested six individuals for violating the presidential directive on the spread of the infectious Covid-19 disease as they were found partying hard at a nightclub at Forest Mall Lugogo, Kampala.

During the arrest, the revellers were found jamming hard to Pia Pounds “Tupaate” song but many found their way to escape the arrest.

The arrested individuals are to be arraigned in court today to answer charges related to doing negligent acts likely to cause the spread of infections.

The Director of Police Operations, Mr Edward Ochom, has since ordered the Police Professional Standards Unit to investigate police commanders for allowing suspended events to continue under their watch
