Salongo Siraje shared a story of how a fan slapped him in the face after he arrived late for a performance in Lugazi.
He recounted the harrowing incident as he was tasked to reveal some of the challenges he has so far encountered in the showbiz industry during an interview on Spark TV.
“One time, I remember a fan ascending toward me at a show where had been booked to perform in Lugazi. The fan came straight to me as I thought he was a fan of me. Instead, I received a hot slap from him because I arrived a bit late”

Having faced such an embarrassing moment, he was forced to establish a gang (Eggali) to protect him from similar incidents.
The “Nalu Nalu” singer further elaborated that he was expected to perform before midnight but he arrived at the venue past at midnight sharp which angered the audience that had turned out to support him.
He states that apparently, such an incident can’t happen to him again since he has an established team that protects him.
