In the spirit of showing love and applause for MC Kats, born Edwin Katamba, Sheilah Carol Gashumba has requested showbiz stakeholders to each bless Kats with Shs 500k.
Sheilah Gashumba notes that if the showbiz entertainers pull off the request she made, it will be a massive token of applause to MC Kats for the work he has done for the industry.
She made the plea ahead of MC Kats KingOfTheMic concert that he is organizing that will go down in Mbarara this weekend.
She added that the challenge of blessing MC Kats with Shs500k will also be a celebration for his birthday as he adds another year to his age.
MC Kats has been pushing Ugandan music since the day one he joined the industry and his love for the industry is evident in all whatever he has done and laid his hands on.
He even speaks it out and lets everybody know that he is very passionate about pushing local music to great heights.
As you read this, the challenge already got underway and we expect the entertainment stakeholders to do the needful.

So far, he has received money from Jeff Kiwa (Shs500k), Alex Muhangi (Shs705000), and friends from the UK (Shs1m) as others will be sending in their contributions by today.
