Sometime early last month, NBS TV Uncut presenter Zahara Totto described singer Rema Namakula as the ambassador of women with family planning ‘coils’ for allegedly taking too long to give birth for her new catch Dr. Hamza Ssebunya ever since they got married in November 2019.
Zahara Totto branded Rema Namakula as the ambassador of women with family planning ‘coils’ in the wake of Emmanuel Lwasa and Diana Nabatanzi’s bitter break up after the former accused the latter of refusing to give birth after dating for a period of 5 years.
Since that time, Rema Namakula had not yet replied to the allegations but in a recent interview with Kayz, Rema responded to the ambassadorial allegations which she just laughed off.
The mother of one went on to stress how holding a marital ceremony doesn’t necessarily mean that a couple is going to give birth immediately.
She then opened up about getting pregnant and giving birth for Dr. Hamza Ssebunya as she disclosed that God is in control of everything though she didn’t give clear updates on when the two plan to get their firstborn as a married couple.

But the case isn’t that anyone who stages a marital ceremony has to be pregnant or should give birth immediately the functions are done. We do these functions out of love. After the ceremonies, you then wait on God to decide the right time when to bless you as a couple with the fruits of your love.
Since the child will be mine and for my husband, we will decide on when we should give birth but before we do even, it is God who has the better plans and decides when.
