Rising singer Tom Dee, legally known as Bakulumpangi Tom Derrick, criticized the Uganda awards organizers for failing to nominate him in any category of the recent awards event.

He believes his song “Omuzabbibu” deserved a nod in at least one category due to its popularity and massive airplay.

Taking to his social media accounts, he mocked the Hipipo Awards organizers as he wrote cheeky statements on his handles that dissed their event.

“Omuzabbibu not nominated anywhere and call them music awards”, he wrote on his social media handles

Tom Dee is preparing for his upcoming “Omuzabibu” concert, which will be held on November 30th at Forest Resort, Lweza.

The concert will be his debut show after years of active participation in Ugandan showbiz, and he is set to serve his fans the best that he can deliver.

He has a couple of songs (23) that range from his hit single Wantama to “Twemwasoma,” Whatsup, Ekibaala, God First, Ekyama, and Banga, among others.

His name has also featured in the list of artists being involved in chaos as he was early this year seen bedridden after he was allegedly attacked and beaten to the extent of getting facial injuries but recovered quickly.

One of his vehicles was also vandalized by an unknown group and took to his social media handles to show it to his fans.
