Outspoken media personality Isaac Daniel Katende alias Kasuku admits that his exchange of blows with Big Talent Entertainment boss Eddy Kenzo worked in his favor.
This is after he disclosed in an interview that he doesn’t ever regret fighting with Kenzo reasoning that since the incident happened, he has never looked back in his media journey.
The pair traded punches after Kasuku accused Eddy Kenzo of bribing presenters not to play Big Eye’s music during his press conference that he had held for his album launch.
When Kasuku accused him and failed to answer, Kenzo lost his cool and jumped over the tables, rained heavy punches on Kasuku only to be separated by fellow journalists.
Kasuku’s work on radio and TV has led him into fights with several celebrities but the most prominent one is perhaps the one with Eddy Kenzo years back.
I had been pushing my brand for years but my name wasn’t yet out there as I wanted. The fight accelerated my brand to the top.
You see the Eddy Kenzo incident took place at a time when we had worked hard and put in a lot of effort in our media careers but we had stalled somewhere.
So it happened at a time when social media had just started booming. So that wave elevated me from where I was and went to another stage.
