Ugandan security operatives are in search of Phiona Tumwesige on grounds that indicate she promotes LGBTQ2+ Community Pride Movement activities.

She is reported to be on the run and the efforts to locate her whereabouts have so far been fruitless.

Tumwesige is being implicated with charges of trying to seduce and introduce young adults into the Rainbow Pride Movement activities which is unacceptable and forbidden in the Ugandan law.

She is accused of having tried to preach and spread the LGBTQ2+ gospel to masses of youths through organizing different conferences though some have been sabotaged by security forces.

Her involvement in LGBTQ community activities is alleged to have begun way back in school and has continued expanding slowly but surely.

According to the law, the ultimate punishment for such similar activities fetches a death sentence and when Tumwesige learned of what she was bound to face when arrested, she went into hiding as the law enforcers are doing whatever is needed to get her arrested and charged.
