Freddie Kasavu, the son of the late Evelyn Lagu, is facing a tough time after returning home to find his mother’s house partially demolished.
The person responsible for the demolition is believed to be a property agent who deals in selling and buying land, allegedly to make way for a new development.
“When I went back home, I found that they had taken over the rear part of our house, the well, the water tank, all these were taken. I do not know why it happened but everything was destroyed”, Freddie Kasavu said.
The reason for the demolition is not yet established, but the late Evelyne Lagu had no debt or disagreements on the land where her house was set up according to her close friend and actor Moses Sserunkuma Bbosa.
Freddie Kasavu and Bbosa Sserunkuma are currently investigating the incident and seeking financial help after his rehabilitation center discharge.
“I heard about it and visited the place. We have not yet received answers as to why it happened and we are currently looking for the person responsible for that because the late was not under any debt for that land. It was fully paid for and there are supporting documents for all these”, he said.
