Sheebah Karungi, a former Team No Sleep (TNS), confirmed her pregnancy to fans and followers during her “Neyanziza” concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on Friday.
This was done when she displayed her baby bump before she took to the stage to kick off with her set on the night in a mesmerizing fashion that left fans in awe.
The singer also hinted at the baby’s gender, possibly a boy, as she performed her final segment in a blue-themed outfit, with other artists in the same segment also dressed in blue.
Reports indicate that Sheebah will give birth in Canada, where she is scheduled to perform on November 2nd of this year.
This will be her last show of the year, and she will only return to Uganda after giving birth.
Sheebah Karungi plans to take a six-month break to focus on her personal goals
Sheebah will continue to work but will work smart when she wants, rather than under pressure.
“I’m going to focus on my businesses that had frozen as I will be looking forward to thriving them again. I want to re-waken those that had paused and those that need strategizing and work on them afresh.
I am also going to focus on myself. Working or seeing me on stage again won’t be a must as previously. I want to just enjoy life and experience the feel of some of the things that I love doing. I want to go watch movies in Cinemas and chill while doing things at my will.
I am going to use the six months to relax and breathe a bit. I will be working but I will work smart. I will work when I want and not work under pressure like how I have been doing”.
