James Lingo Maring is a South Sudanese 🇸🇸 Afro-beats/Afro-pop artist based in the United States 🇺🇸, born to South Sudanese Parents in Uganda. He is known by his stage name, Doctor Jaymoe.
He believes Music is a Universal Language understood by all, he understands this and that’s why he approaches music like the art of studying a universal language.
Doctor Jaymoe learned different languages starting from the time he grew up in a Refugee Camp in Kenya.
This helped him develop a love for languages such as English, Luganda, Arabic Juba, Kukuu (Bari), and Spanish, along with other languages he picked up. His humbled beginnings shape how he interacts with others through music.
