Veteran musician Alex Mukulu believes that many individuals who frequently visit nightclubs and bars are committing ‘slow suicide’ due to a lack of purpose and guidance.
He believes that if the younger generation had the right role models to follow, they wouldn’t be behaving the way they do.
Mukulu believes that the younger generation is lost and needs guidance to make better decisions.
The veteran playwright and actor shared his views during an interview on Sanyuka TV as he was hosted to share his source of motivation and inspiration.
He is a celebrated public figure who is talented in different spheres of life and usually lands gigs that require advising the youth.

Mukulu was born in 1954 in Misebe (Ssingo County), Buganda, to Paulo Kayizi Lugaizi and Victoria Ndagire, daughter of Prince Yokana Kimbugwe of Lungujja.
After Kololo Secondary School, he studied Film and Drama at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. His most well-known plays include “30 Years of Bananas”, “Wounds of Africa” and “Guest of Honour”.[3] “Journey to Self-Realization” was performed at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held in Kampala in 2007.
