Singer Sqoop Larma recently shared in a media interview that his hit song “Naterera” was inspired by a personal experience involving fellow artist Geosteady.
According to Sqoop, Geosteady stole his girlfriend, and he channeled the hurt and pain into creating the song, which translates to “I am better now” in English.
While the song became a hit, Sqoop emphasized that he could not thank Geosteady for the success, despite having forgiven him.

Instead, he credits his ex for choosing the “Owooma” singer over him, as that decision became the inspiration for the song.
He also revealed that this incident marked the last time he spoke to Geosteady.
In a surprising twist, Sqoop shared that Geosteady had taught him sciences during his school years.
Despite their strained relationship, Sqoop expressed empathy for Geosteady, acknowledging his struggles with drug addiction, which eventually led the singer to check into rehab.
