Rajiv Ruparelia, the son of business mogul Sudhir Ruparelia, has reportedly passed away after he was involved in a nasty accident along Munyonyo Entebbe Express Highway.
Based on the reports so far gathered by this website reveal that he was in a drifting competition when he lost control and rammed into the barricades.
Immediately, the car went into flames, and at least one life was lost. The car turned into ashes by the time the Police swung in to get out of the fire.
Police said Ruparelia was driving a Nissan GTR from Kajjansi toward Munyonyo when the vehicle collided with temporary pavements at a roundabout on the flyover. The vehicle then overturned and caught fire, resulting in Ruparelia’s immediate death.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and will release further details as they become available.
Rajiv Ruparelia played a significant role in the expansion of the Ruparelia Group, which has holdings in real estate, education, hospitality, and agriculture.
