Precious Remmie, a.k.a Ray P, has hung up her mic and left the newsroom lights behind.
The beloved media personality and former Next Media presenter just confirmed the rumors — she’s not just on maternity leave.
She’s fully resigned and stepped into a brand new chapter of her life in the United States.
Yes, you read that right — Ray P is now living her best soft life as a full-time wife and mom to her husband Raymond Bindeeba and their three adorable children.
The truth came out during a heartfelt YouTube video, where Ray P got real with her fans and let them in on what’s going on.
While most of us thought she was simply taking a break to welcome baby number three, she dropped the mic (literally and figuratively) with a calm, collected announcement:
“I’m here to inform you that I have officially resigned from my job. I no longer work for the media. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mother. It’s like I’m in my retirement period.”
And just like that, the queen of Ugandan morning TV has exited stage left — and she’s not looking back.
According to Ray P, this move was always part of the bigger plan. She wanted to have her children at the right time, settle into motherhood on her terms, and finally be present.
Something she says was nearly impossible with her firstborn, Prince, who spent much of his early years in boarding school while she hustled through the whirlwind of media life.
Now, she’s making up for lost time — and loving every moment of it.
“Do not expect me to be working anywhere anytime soon,” she added. “For now, I’m concentrating on my children and taking care of my husband.”
As for what’s happening back in Uganda? The media game moves fast. Haffy Powers has already filled Ray P’s shoes at Next Media after her move from BBS TV.
But let’s be honest — for many fans, mornings just don’t hit the same without that iconic “Precious Remmie reporting for duty” energy.
Ray P’s decision might come as a surprise, but it’s also a beautiful reminder: sometimes, the biggest flex is choosing peace, presence, and family.
Wishing her all the joy in this next season. You did your thing, Ray P — and now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of it.
