Actress Marya Okoth has gracefully turned a new chapter in her life after parting ways with popular comedian YY.
Once admired as one of the most charming celebrity couples, Marya and YY’s relationship ended in September 2024, with the two sharing a daughter from their time together.
While YY quickly moved on and briefly dated Noela Toywa, that relationship fizzled out in less than four months. Meanwhile, Marya took her time, and now it seems her patience has truly paid off.

In a heartwarming twist, Marya has officially tied the knot with her new love, Okula Jack, a senior government official in Kenya’s Ministry of Education.
The two celebrated their union in a vibrant traditional wedding ceremony held in Ugenya, Siaya County.
Photos and videos from the traditional wedding, which were initially kept under wraps, surfaced on social media and left fans both stunned and overjoyed.
According to David Ochola, a close friend of the groom and one of the groomsmen, two events were held to mark the marriage: one on May 31 and the other on August 3.
“Both events were top notch. Full support system from us to the end,” he shared on Facebook.
Dressed in regal traditional attire, Marya dazzled in a leopard-print dress and feathered headpiece, while her husband Jack complemented her in a coordinated light beige outfit.
A short video clip captured during the ceremony showed the couple in a church setting, singing from an SDA hymnal, confirming that a church wedding also took place as part of the celebrations.
Fans have praised Marya’s quiet strength and grace through the breakup and now celebrate her newfound happiness. Love, it seems, has once again smiled upon the talented actress—this time, in the warm heart of Siaya.
Congratulations to Marya Okoth and Okula Jack!
