Industrial area-based club Guvnor will be closing down in December, according to media personality Kasuku.
The club will hold its last opening on 27th December, ending its reign in the nightlife scene.
Earlier this year in May, the club announced that it had ceased hosting Saturday night operations, but remained open for private events and concerts.
The club is still available for hire on other days of the week, except Fridays.
The Club shall, however, remain available for hire on Saturdays for:
- Private Parties/Events/Concerts/Product Launches/Presentations.
- Guvnor Uganda is still available for hire on other days of the week, EXCEPT on Fridays.
Please note that we shall remain officially open only on Fridays for:
- Friday Night Live with Afrigo Band (Every last Friday of the month)
- Oldies Night (Every first Friday of the month)
- Guvnor FriYAY with Aka Dope Band (Every second Friday of the month)
- Guvnor FriYAY – Afro Fusion Night (Every third Friday of the month)
Club Guvnor, located on Jinja Road in the Industrial Area, has been a staple of the city’s entertainment scene, known for its high-end atmosphere and exclusive events.
The closure is attributed to rising operational costs, which have made it difficult for the club to continue.
Club Guvnor is reportedly closing down this December.
