Cold Q, a Ugandan stand-up comedian, passed away after a period of prolonged illness.
He was half of the Crazy University comedy duo outfit that usually entertained revelers at different hangouts with their hilarious comedy skits.
He had been hospitalized for some time, receiving treatment for a strange illness as he was reported to have had some stomach complications.
Cold Q had been on and off oxygen for the most part of his treatment and would require a sum of Shs350k daily as he kept on fighting for his life.
It was until Monday morning when he breathed his last at the Kirudu Hospital where he had been getting treatment.
Recently, his fellow comedians organized a press briefing to raise funds for his treatment and also called upon the government and Hon. Balaam Barugahara to support them but by the time he kicked the bucket, they were yet to respond.
The press briefing aimed at soliciting funds for Cold Q and Bobi Brown who is also set to undergo surgery as he battle bladder and kidney complications.
Bobi Brown was advised by his doctor to do whatever is possible so that he could undergo the surgery before October ends or in the first two days of November.
The details of Cold Q’s funeral arrangements have not been disclosed yet.
