Comedian YY, a renowned Film Writer and Director, has lost his grandfather weeks after losing his grandmother.
In an emotional post via his Instagram account, YY revealed that his family was thrown into mourning again.
They had lost his grandfather, his mum’s dad, and he said that he was feeling sorry for his mum and her siblings.
“Lost my grandfather again. My mum’s dad. My heart goes out to my mother and her siblings,” he said.
Barely two weeks ago, Comedian YY revealed that his grandmother had fought a long battle with illness and had gone to be with the Lord. He thanked her for her part in making sure he went to school. YY wrote: “My grandma has rested. Rest well Dani (Mama Zilpa Ogola). You have fought a very painful battle. Thank you for your influence on my education. Dani will be laid to rest on Sept 27, 2024 in Kosele village,” he penned.
His celebrity friends and fans comforted him in the comment section of his post, telling him that everything would be alright.
on September 5, Marya took to social media to announce they had parted ways, leaving many speculating they were clout-chasing.
This was followed by YY coming out to clear the air. In an interview with Dr Ofweneke on Lessons at 30, the content creator opened up about their failed relationship.
Marya denied chasing clout, insisting that she and YY were no longer together.
