Comedian and content creator Uncle Mo has set his sights on reaching a global audience, despite the challenges of making Ugandans laugh.
“It’s challenging to make Ugandans laugh. Some jokes may seem funny, but given the problems we face, they often fall flat. As an entertainer, you have to make choices, and I’m striving to reach a global audience”, Uncle Mo explained during an interview on Sanyuka TV.
He credits his friend and fellow comedian Uncle Mark Uganda for being instrumental in shaping his writing.
Speaking in an interview, he hinted at how he is planning to forming a duo with Uncle Mark Uganda whom he has been moving with along.
“Uncle Mark Uganda is a good friend of mine. We share a deep connection regarding our ideas about art. He has been instrumental in shaping my writing and is well-grounded in his faith. The plan is to potentially become duo hosts”, he said.
Uncle Mo was born and raised in Kireka and is a practicing engineer, a job he is passionate about.
In his free time, he invests in his energy in content creation that has given him fame in the public domain.
Uncle Mo says he comes from a humble background though his family always tried to provide him with the basics they need.
He is from a family of six siblings and adds that he wanted to be a lawyer but his mother pushed him to pursue an engineering course that he is taking.
“I wanted to be a lawyer, but my mother wanted me to pursue engineering, and I ended up loving it. I attended Kings College Budo and Makerere University”, Uncle Mark.
