Dr. Bbosa and wife Penina mourn passing of their new bundle of joy

Sam Bagenda alias Dr. Bbosa, The Ebonies lead actor, and his wife Penina have announced the untimely passing of their newborn baby boy.

On 31st October 2024, Sam Bagenda and Penina gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at the International Hospital Kampala (HIK).

The newborn baby, however, experienced several health complications and was confined to the hospital bed for a week.

Unfortunately, the baby lost the battle, and breathed his last today evening, leaving the couple in profound sorrow.

Family, friends, and relatives will converge at Sam Bagenda‘s home in Lubaga, for the late son’s vigil.

Detailed funeral arrangements are still scanty at present, but reports suggest that the burial will be held in Bugerere at 4:00 PM.

Sam Bagenda Brief Biodata

Dr. Bbosa, (born 31 March 1965), is a prominent Ugandan actor and singer. Started his career as a singer, Bagenda later became a popular actor, who is best known for his roles in the Malayalam Movie Escape from Uganda and the film That’s Life Mwattu. Meanwhile, Bagenda was also voted Ugandan actor of the millennium in 2000.

He was born on 31 March 1965, in Mukono, Uganda, in a family with four siblings. His father Dr. Sam Bakiranze was a doctor and his mother Margaret Bakiranze was a teacher. He started his education at Auntie Clare and City Nursery schools. Later he attended Kitante Primary School and completed his secondary school at Lubiri Secondary School, Kampala, and Caltek Academy Makerere. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with a bias in auditing from Makerere University. Meanwhile, he completed a Public Accountants course (CPA) at Graffins College Kenya as well. Then he worked as an accountant for a few years before entering the drama
