Eddy Kenzo, a Ugandan musician, has shared some of the reasons why he left the Firebase crew camp where he started his music career from.

Speaking in an interview, he explained that he quit the music camp due to his belief that his fellow musician and then-boss Bobi Wine was copying his songs.

Eddy Kenzo claimed that Bobi Wine’s songs “Promise” and “Wesotinge” were similar to his own, “Yanimba” that he recorded with Mikie Wine and “Musonyiwe” respectively. For that reason he was forced to leave Firebase.

The Big Talent Entertainment boss has since gone on to shine and achieve great milestone including being appointed as a Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives by the Head of the state.
