Elijah Kitaka, a singer from Swangz Avenue, has shared how his elder brother used to block him from pursuing music as a career.
Kitaka’s brother was concerned about the industry and wanted him to do something else. However, after Kitaka turned out to be the star he is today, his brother became happy for him and let him do whatever he wished.
I used to stay with my brothers but they were too busy for me. During that time, my elder brother didn’t want me to sing and join the music industry. Fortunately, he is happy with what I’ve become. He always found ways to stop me from doing music. He used to do that because he was already in music and knew how things were going.
Kitaka’s brother, Eli Arkhis, is his blood brother and he was also in music, but he was too busy for Kitaka.
Kitaka decided to record his beats and it became easy for him to incorporate making beats and live music into his art.
