I wanted to help Spice Diana: Uncle Chumi speaks up on her ‘Gwokute Gwoba’ remix

Upcoming musician Uncle Chumi made her breakthrough last year with her single “Gwokute Gwoba”. She went ahead and did a remix of the song this year featuring Spice Diana.

However, the two had disagreements along the way, and it’s alleged that Spice Diana failed to meet her financial promises to Uncle Chumi.

The upcoming singer has since opened up on why she did a remix and says she wanted to help Spice Diana.

“I wanted to help Spice Diana because the song was doing well. I am her friend, but I am even closer with her manager Roger,” she explained.

Uncle Chumi adds that she hasn’t benefited from the remix.

She adds that Spice Diana would have given her a new song if she wanted to uplift her career as an upcoming artist.

The “Gwokute Gwoba” remix has often been criticized by different people in the industry, notably promoter Abitex.
