Jacorda, real name Safinah Nambooze, a rising dancehall singer dropped the audio version of her brand new dancehall jam dubbed “Mateeka”.
“Mateeka” is a Luganda word that can loosely be translated to mean “Of Course”. The jam is one that turns the audience go gaga.
It is just a matter of time that Jacorda will become a power-house musician on the local entertainment scene provided she gets the desired support to push her brand to world.
The 23-year-old promises is highly promising and this is the right time that she shows the world what she got in her tank.
In a past interview, JACORDA revealed that her name originates from “Jah Code,” reflecting the idea that the creator uses codes in many actions. It signifies being conscious of one’s actions and choices.
