Ritah Dancehall, a renowned video vixen and backup singer, revealed that her mother was not supportive of her career at the start.
She went ahead to disclose how she used to whip her whenever she went to nightclubs at the time she was pursuing dancing as a career.
Born Ritah Nasaazi a.k.a Ritah Dancehall further explained that this happened the whole of her secondary school life and has scares that can prove it.
However, when she got hired by dancehall singer Ziza Bafana, who paid her some good cash after performances and would return with the money home.
Her mother eventually came to terms with her decision and let her be what she wanted to become.
Ritah Dancehall credits her persistence to stick to what she felt was good for her as the reason why she calls herself ‘self-made’.
She also commends Ziza Bafana for treating her as a star and when she met Sheebah, her life took a different turn for the better of her life.
