Ruth Ngendo, a singer, has weighed in on the ongoing feud between Spice Diana and Sheebah Karungi, stating that beef in the music industry can be beneficial if it is built on healthy ground.
She believes feuds can help motivate artists to bring out the best in their music and keep the industry vibrant.
The feud between Spice Diana and Sheebah Karungi was re-ignited when a section of Sheebaholics wrote a letter asking their boss to cut ties with the Source Management singer, which Spice Diana used to respond to dissing lyrics that Sheebah sent her way in the “Sipimika” remix she did with Yung Mulo.
Ruth Ngendo believes that feuds in the music industry can be healthy if they are on healthy ground, as they can help motivate artists to create good music for their fans.
“I think beef in the music industry would help us if at all it is healthy. If the beef is healthy, I think it is okay even when they dis each other. It is only bad if it is unhealthy because things dealing with separating are not good at all. I believe in unity among people but I see it has still failed in our industry. Most of the time, as ladies, we don’t wish each other well”, Ruth Ngendo
