Sheilah Gashumba has vowed not to address her father’s new wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika, as her mother.
Yesterday, Frank Gashumba cemented his marriage with his new wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika, with a colorful Gusaba and engagement ceremony in Sembabule.
Several notable figures graced the colorful ceremony, including Balaam Barugahara, Lydia Jazmine, Jennifer Full Figure, Abryanz, and Sheilah Gashumba, among others.
After the ceremony, Sheilah Gashumba took to her X/Twitter handle to congratulate her father on officiating his marriage. In her message, she referred to her father’s wife as Malaika, instead of mum, as critics had anticipated.
Congratulations my father Mr. Frank Gashumba on your engagement and Gusaba. You looked soo happy yesterday. Wishing you the absolute best, happiness and love in your new journey with Malaika.
In response to media personality Simon Kaggwa Njala, who questioned why she doesn’t address Malaika as “mum,” the socialite laughed off the remarks. She explained that she can only refer to the woman who gave birth to her as “mum” and urged everyone to calm down.
Unfortunately, I can’t, I will only call the woman who gave birth to me ‘mum’, so everyone must calm down. Wama congratulations, beautiful Malaika!! I need two siblings
