Stand-up comedian Bobi Brown, real name Simon Katongole, is seeking financial support for surgery to treat his bladder and kidney complications.
He has been bedridden for over two weeks and has been experiencing unusual feelings in his lower body organs.
The complications started after he was attacked and severely thumped by goons in 2021 around Bwaise as he was about to jump on a boda-boda heading home in the evening hours and he was left unconscious.
Luckily, he was helped by well-wishers who rushed him to the hospital for first aid, and managed to fight for his life. He initially did not feel that his other organs had suffered damage until recently when he experienced difficulties while easing himself.
Bobi Brown is seeking financial aid of about Shs5M for the surgery, which should be carried out before the end of this month or in the first two days of November before the situation gets out of hand.
His doctor has barred him from making any more stage performances, citing that his health is in a very poor condition.
He has since called upon Bebe Cool, Hajjati Hadijja Namyalo, Mama Fiina, and everyone willing to extend support toward saving his life.
Bobi Brown is praying that he gets the needed financial support to treat his health complications.
