Socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan is no stranger to controversy, but her latest remarks have set social media ablaze, igniting a heated discussion on poverty, parenthood, and personal responsibility.
In a blunt social media outburst, Zari questioned why individuals who are struggling financially continue to have children they may not be able to support.
“In this economy, are poor people still giving birth? Talk to me!” she exclaimed, clearly frustrated by what she perceives as a widespread lack of foresight and responsibility.
According to Zari, her inbox is frequently filled with messages from women seeking assistance after being left by the fathers of their children, often in dire circumstances.
“Women come to my inbox crying that men have left them with kids and there’s nothing to eat,” she said.
