Ugandan musician Mulwana Patrick, better known as Alien Skin, appeared before Makindye Magistrates Court on charges related to causing grievous harm at St. Francis Nsambya Hospital.
His court appearance attracted a large crowd of fans who gathered outside to show their support.
The police were forced to disperse the crowd to ensure that the proceedings continued without disruption.
Alien Skin, along with his co-accused, Mugabi Julius, was remanded in custody until their next hearing, scheduled for 28th November 2024. The court also issued a statement ordering the arrest of 18 others who were on Alien’s gang as they attacked the Hospital and beat up security personnel and doctors.
He is also being charged with a case related to the theft of a mobile phone iPhone 15 from a guy in the areas of Makindye and having also made off with his money worth Shs2m and a laptop.
This is not the first time that Alien Skin has found his name at the center of controversy as he has often been accused of assaulting different individuals together with his gang.
At the initial stages of his career, he assaulted a bouncer at Vox Lounge in Makindye when he beat him up and dislocating his jaw. He is said to have many police files at Katwe Police Station and this time around he is in hot soup that has seen him being sent behind coolers.
