Songster Carol Nantongo has for the umpteenth time set the record straight about her relationship with fellow singer and the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President, Eddy Kenzo.
Speaking in an interview on the Kookie Promotions YouTube channel, the “Oliwa” singer maintained that her relationship with Eddy Kenzo is only friendship-based. She adds that there is nothing more to that as gossipers state it.
She goes on to stress that she doesn’t date musicians and also stresses that she has never had feelings for singer Eddy Kenzo reasoning that the Sitya Loss singer has his wives since he is a Hajji who some people know.
Carol Nantongo further disclosed that the rumors of her dating with Eddy Kenzo escalated from a video challenge that they recorded together which blew everything out of proportion.

“In my life, I don’t date fellow musicians. Eddy Kenzo is just my friend and there is nothing more than that. The thing that sparked all those rumors was the video challenge that we recorded. I have never developed feelings for Eddy Kenzo. Eddy Kenzo will never be my husband since he has different wives and he is a hajji. Those spreading the rumors should stop”, Carol Nantongo.
She further claimed that from the day the Federation was established, they were aware of the relationship between Eddy Kenzo and Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro and whenever she would hear people alleging that she was fighting for Eddy Kenzo with Lydia Jazmine, she would laugh because she all were lies and hearsay.
Carol Nantongo notes that she would never date Eddy Kenzo since she knows he doesn’t belong to her and will never be hers even if they remained in the world only two.
