Controversial media personality Zahara Totto has successfully graduated as a professional deejay after schooling at Douglas Lwanga’s Skillz Clinic in Kamwokya.
Deejaying is a skill that Zahara Totto a.k.a DJ Zatto added to her arsenal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown in times when she was bored away to supplement her journalism career.
Slowly by slowly, she took to the set during the weekends and performed as a DJ during the dance nights at the station. Before we all knew it, she started landing deejaying gigs at different night hangouts around Kampala.
Not only did she stop at that, but she landed herself a lunchtime deejaying slot at NXT Radio, a sister station to NBS TV and Sanyuka where she worked as the UnCut presenter.
As time went by, Zahara Totto saw it fit to enroll for a deejaying course at one of the institutes around town and it had to be no other than Douglas Lwanga’s Purple Skillz Clinic, an NGO in Uganda that focuses on providing training in creative arts, digital technology, and vocational skills to address youth unemployment.
